We currently live in a society that not only admires weakness but promotes it. Words are supposed to pierce like bullets, opinions are supposed to be kept away from those that disagree, just for the sake of not hurting their soft feelings. Masculinity is looked down on and helicopter parenting is the norm. The lingering question remains: when the true battle comes and strong character is required to win, how will our society defend itself and its values?
