The psychiatric system in the United States of America is not only atrocious, it is downright despicable. I say this speaking from experience, as someone who has dealt with depression and anxiety issues since I was eight years old. I have seen doctors push addictive pills on people that they know will abuse them. I have seen people made dependent on benzodiazepines for the sole reason of making sure that they make it to the next doctor visit to get their prescriptions refilled. There is not emphasis on taking care of overall health, exercising, finding activities that will help your mood, and enrolling in programs that offer support. None. Zero. Zilch. Nada.
One pill is all you need. If that pill doesn’t work, we will try another, and another, and another. If you are lucky, you will find something that works for you before your life is in shambles. Keep coming and paying that copay, we will keep you hooked for as long as we can.
It is for that reason that many years ago I started taking charge of my own mental health. I have tried myriads of alternative methods and supplements. Some have worked, some have not even gotten close. And today, even though there is always work to do, I feel like I am in a great place in life, due to what I have learned.
Studies are now coming out of Harvard university that are finally proving something I ran into a long time ago: Psylocibin is saving the lives of people with severe depressive disorders, soldiers with PTSD, people with suicidal ideations, bipolar and…
New studies have now come out from Harvard as well that psylocibin is showing positive results in the treatment of Alzheimer’s!!! Having a grandfather that died from this terrible disease, this is immensely exciting to me!!
I grow my own mushrooms. The activity of growing your own medicine is more rewarding that I can possibly describe with words. For that reason, I am coming out with a poetry podcast by the name of Breaking The Veil, where I would hope you join me in taking a journey through literature, the mind, and the universes of learning and therapy that magic mushrooms have to offer.
Launch Date will be announced soon!! Stay tuned for more information.
