One of the hardest things a human being can go through is finally grasping the banality of their belief system. When what a person looks up to–be it a father figure, a god, a hero–is undressed and its greatest deficencies revealed, one is faced with a dose of extreme doubt, dissapointment and fear. The personality structure itself will shake all the way to its foundation, and it is up to the individual to move forward without perhaps one of the most important part of themselves.

Personally speaking, I dont wish this transition on my worst enemy, if I happened to have one.
